What are Spider veins?
Spider veins consist of a group of widened red or blue veins that are visible through the surface of skin and have a distinctive wheel-and-spoke shape that resemble a spider. Often appearing on the face or legs, Spider veins are medically known as spider telangiectasia and may be isolated or associated with feeder veins. Spider veins can worsen during times of hormonal shifts (i.e. puberty, pregnancy or menopause) and can also increase after trauma, after sitting or standing for long periods of time, or even after being exposed to the sun.
What is the procedure to remove Spider veins?
