Paramedical Tattoos in Los Angeles Make Scars Seem to Disappear

Sometimes, we have to have scars to get better. They can be caused by surgery for conditions—such as cancer. They can also happen when we lose a body part, like the areola.

Just because there’s a scar there now, doesn’t mean it can’t look restored to a more normal appearance. Paramedical tattoos may be able to mask your scars and make them look like nothing ever happened!

Our team of professional tattoo artists specialize in paramedical tattooing. They use precise color grading to make sure your tattoo mimics the normal tissues and looks natural.

It’s the tattoo you won’t know is there!

Scar Camouflage

Paramedical tattoos can make discolored scar tissue match surrounding tissue coloration.

3D Tattoos

If an areola has an aesthetic defect or has been surgically removed, our tattoos offer the 3D appearance of an aerola.

More Confidence

Because this procedure makes a scar less pronounced (or invisible), it reduces self-consciousness.

The Paramedical Tattoo Process

What to Expect

01

Consultation

It starts with a personal consultation with your trained and licensed Younique provider. During this relaxing and energizing one-on-one, they’ll discuss your concerns, your goals for treatment, and your medical history. If your provider determines that paramedical tattoos in Los Angeles are the best treatment for your concerns and goals, your session can be scheduled.

02

Treatment

Your Younique provider will remove any makeup that may be on the treatment area and thoroughly cleanse it. The way the paramedical tattoo procedure is performed depends on the severity of the issue. However, they all work similarly to regular tattoos, where ink is inserted under the skin using a tattoo machine. This machine possesses tiny needles that puncture the skin to deliver the ink. Unlike regular tattoos, paramedical tattoos are meant to mimic normal tissues. They are discreet, mostly unnoticeable changes that make scarring “disappear”.

Recovery

After your tattoo has been placed, your Younique provider will apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment over the treatment area and cover it with a bandage or plastic wrap. This protects the tattoo from bacteria and irritation from clothing. You’ll receive instructions on how and when to remove the covering at home and how to best support the healing process. Tattoos are permanent; however, the color might begin to fade after several years. When this happens, it is possible to retouch the tattoo colors to make them look natural once again.
