There are two main reasons patients consider cheek augmentation with implants.

The different angles, planes, and elements of nose size and shape—and their harmony with the rest of the face—determine whether it is big, small, or symmetrical.

Your nose can be divided into three general measures:

• Length. Measured from the root, located at the top of the nose right between the eyebrows, to the tip of the nose.

• Width. Measured from side to side on a frontal plane.

• Height. Indicated by how much the nose projects forward into space.

The vast space that paranasal sinuses take up is not necessarily what a plastic surgeon targets. Also, some women’s body types and shapes attain a more natural-looking enhancement from breast fat transfer in Los Angeles. The BBL recovery timeline is as follows:

• Return to work: 1 to 2 weeks after surgery
• Full recovery: 3 to 4 weeks after surgery
• Return to exercise: around 8 weeks post-surgery

You will need to wear your compression garment all the time (day and night) for the first 4 weeks following surgery and during the day for at least another 4 weeks. If in doubt about carrying out a particular activity, check with your surgeon.

Most patients will recover from a BBL within 4 to 6 weeks. Remember that although the donor site and injection sites should be healed by 6 weeks, it’s still important to avoid unnecessary pressure on the gluteal area and refrain from lifting heavy weights for at least 8 weeks.

The best candidates for a Brazilian butt lift have enough extra fat to harvest for the procedure—but aren’t more than 30 pounds over their ideal weight. As this is a more intensive surgery than vaginal repair, vaginoplasty for transition cannot be done on an outpatient basis. During your consultation, you’ll discuss all your goals. Your Younique provider can help you determine the best procedures to achieve a healthy, successful transition.

Yes, there are 2 different techniques to accomplish your labiaplasty goals:

• Wedge Technique. This involves your Younique surgeon removing a v-shaped “wedge” of tissue from both sides of the labia and then suturing the edges together. This provides excellent results with the least amount of scar tissue.
• Edge Technique. This involves removing the outer edge of the labia minora, thereby shortening them to become even with, or shorter than, your labia majora (depending on your aesthetic and comfort goals).

A urethral bulking agent is a filler material which your Younique provider injects into the urethral wall around the neck of the bladder or the sphincter muscles of the bladder. This gives more tension around the muscle and provides a tighter seal to hold the urine in. It also increases the resistance of the urethra and helps prevent urine leakage during normal daily activities.

As with all surgical procedures, the best candidates are healthy, don’t have bleeding or healing disorders, don’t smoke, and are near their ideal weight.

For an arm lift in particular, you may be a good candidate for the procedure if:

• Your genetics cause you to have sagging underarm skin, no matter your healthy habits.
• Aging has caused your skin to lose elasticity—the ability to “bounce back” after stretching—and your upper arms have skin droop.
• You’ve lost weight, causing the stretched skin to sag where the weight has disappeared.
