Consultation
It starts with a personal consultation with your trained and licensed Younique provider. During this relaxing and energizing one-on-one, they’ll discuss your concerns, your goals for treatment, and your medical history. If your provider determines that CoolSculpting in Los Angeles is the best treatment for your concerns and goals, your session can be scheduled.
Treatment
During your CoolSculpting procedure, your Younique provider will apply a CoolSculpting applicator to your target area. This applicator may or may not involve suction. The CoolSculpting system then uses its innovative controlled-cooling technology to safely and effectively “freeze” fat cells. Though it isn’t painful, you may experience a prickly sensation as the applicator cools the treatment area through a skin-protecting gel pad. This sensation often fades within 5 to 10 minutes.
Recovery
After 1 hour (2 hours with the flat applicator), the treatment for that area is completed and the device is removed. Immediately the tissue receives a firm massage to maximize results. It will feel like a deep tissue massage—uncomfortable but bearable. There is no downtime, and you may resume normal exercise and activity when all is done. Results will gradually develop over 2 to 4 months following your treatment.

Will CoolSculpting keep me thin?
Though CoolSculpting destroys fat, it isn’t a weight loss method. CoolSculpting results can last a lifetime depending on the individual. This process destroys fat cells, meaning they will not return. However, destroying fat cells that exist won’t prevent new ones from appearing. It also doesn’t prevent the surviving fat cells from continuing to increase in size.
To preserve the positive body contouring results of CoolSculpting, you’ll need to work on living a healthy lifestyle. Without diet and exercise, you’ll see fat build up again eventually.
