Procedure
Your Younique provider will gently cleanse and prepare your treatment area. Depending on your sensitivities, they may apply a numbing cream, and then mark the optimal injection sites using a washable dermatological marker.
Next, using a very small needle, your provider applies the product through multiple injections around the treatment locations. It usually involves 5 injections, though the final number and placement will be determined during the treatment. In most cases, patients receive:
- 2 injections above the right eyebrow
- 2 injections above the left eyebrow
- 1 injection between both eyebrows
You may experience a slight pinch or pressure during the injections.
Recovery
You can resume normal activities right away. Any bruising and swelling disappears after a few days without additional treatment. We do recommend you avoid exercising until the following day. Also, you should refrain form touching or massaging the area.
Patients are advised to avoid taking the following medicines to prevent issues with bruises recovery:
