Procedure
All Juvéderm treatments begin with your Younique provider removing any makeup and thoroughly cleansing the treatment area. Next, they’ll use a marker to designate the injection sites that will accomplish your goals. The chosen Juvéderm dermal filler is artfully injected at those sites, in a treatment session that usually takes around 45 minutes.
Recovery
After your treatment, you’ll be asked to avoid massaging or touching the treatment area for several days. You’ll also need to avoid unnecessary exposure to sun, heat, and cold. It’s especially important to make sure you wear sunscreen after treatment. Some patients do experience some mild pain, tenderness, and redness around the injection sites, but these problems generally go away in a couple days. Positive results usually show immediately!

How long does Juvéderm last?
Juvéderm lasts 3 months or more, depending on the product used, the injection location, and your own body’s biology.
Juvéderm’s Ultra Plus can generally last anywhere from 9 to 12 months while the newer cross-linked products like Vollure can last anywhere from twelve to eighteen months. When used on the cheeks, results usually last for two years, and when patients undergo treatment again, they usually don’t need as much product to get the results they want.
The Juvéderm Voluma formula has lasted as long as 2 years in some patients. Depending on whether Juvéderm Ultra XC or Juvéderm Ultra Plus is used, parentheses lines and folds can be smoothed and softened for 12 to 18 months. Juvéderm Lips results are known to last significantly longer than traditional lip injections.
