Consultation
It starts with a personal consultation with your trained and licensed Younique provider. During this relaxing and energizing one-on-one, they’ll discuss your concerns, your goals for treatment, and your medical history. If your provider determines that Radiesse in Los Angeles is the best treatment for your concerns and goals, your session can be scheduled.
Procedure
First, your Younique provider will remove any makeup and gently but thoroughly cleanse the treatment area. Depending on your sensitivities, a topical numbing agent may be administered. Next, they’ll use a marker to delineate the injection sites that will best achieve your aesthetic goals. Finally, your Radiesse dermal filler will be injected. Initially, it provides the volume enhancement, but as your body naturally processes the gel, it begins to rebuild collagen for long-term plumpness and volume.
Recovery
The aftercare for Radiesse dermal fillers is the same for most other dermal fillers. You should expect a 1 to 2 day recovery period, though you can return to your regular routine after your treatment. You may experience temporary swelling in the treatment area, along with possible bruising and discomfort at the injection sites. You should avoid strenuous exercise. You should avoid hot showers, saunas/hot tubs, and sunlight for 7 to 10 days. You shouldn’t touch/rub the treatment areas for the remainder of the day, and don’t sleep on them for 3 days.

Radiesse uses CaHA (calcium hydroxylapatite) as its main active compound. The injectable water-based gel has the CaHA microspheres suspended in it. When injected, it initially acts as a volume enhancer, which great reduces or erases age-related lines and wrinkles. As the body naturally absorbs and removes these spheres over time, Radiesse has stimulated the skin’s natural collagen production so that your skin can retain a healthier, more supple look and feel.
How do I maintain my positive results from Radiesse?
The answer is pretty simple: schedule regular maintenance appointments with Younique for “touch-ups.” Because of the efficacy and longevity of Radiesse in Los Angeles, you may not need more than one or maybe two touch-ups per year.
