Benefits of a Skinny Brazilian Butt Lift in Los Angeles
Long-Lasting
Your skinny BBL results can last for 5 or more years, depending on how well you support the recovery process.
Zero Implants
Volume is enhanced using your body’s own natural fat cells, eliminating the need for unnatural implants.
Improved Curve
Shape and round out your backside for a more alluring transition from your waistline.
Consultation
It starts with a personal consultation with your trained and licensed Younique provider. During this one-on-one, they’ll discuss your concerns, your goals for treatment, and your medical history. If your provider determines that a skinny Brazilian butt lift in Los Angeles is the best option, your surgery can be scheduled and you’ll be filled in on the pre-surgery preparation details.
Procedure
The procedure is done under anesthesia to prevent pain and discomfort.
First, the doctor performs a small incision to insert the suction cannula and begin the liposuction. Once enough fat tissue is harvested from a site, the process is repeated in another area. Multiple liposuctions are performed across different zones until enough fat has been harvested.
The fat is then purified using a centrifuge machine to prevent adverse reactions. Afterward, it is injected into the buttocks to reshape it in the desired way.
Recovery
You can expect mild swelling, bruising, and discomfort following the skinny BBL. Most patients take a week off from work to heal and recover properly.
Furthermore, you’ll get a compression garment to help with the swelling and healing. A “butt lift” pillow might also be used to provide added protection. The areas where the liposuction is performed can take a few weeks to heal, during which time they might feel sore and tender.
What makes me a good—or not-so-good—candidate for skinny BBL?
If you’re considering adding some roundness and curve to your backside, we recommend you should be slim with a BMI under 25. More importantly, you must be in good health and free of diseases that could interfere with the surgery, such as bleeding disorders.
Although the skinny BBL is intended for thin people, you still must have enough fat tissue to harvest from different areas. If you don’t have enough fat, the procedure can’t be performed, and implants might be a better solution for you. Your Younique provider will help determine your candidacy during your consultation, and provide alternative solutions if a skinny BBL doesn’t look suitable.
What's the difference between a BBL and a skinny BBL?
There’s not much difference in the process itself—both of which utilize liposuction for gathering unwanted fat, harvesting it, and then injecting it near blood vessels in the target site for maximum chance to survive and thrive.
The difference lay in the fact that people with BMI of 25 or less have smaller reservoirs of extra body fat. That means more areas of liposuction will be needed than a regular BBL, so that enough unwanted fat can be gathered. Also, the placement and amount placed will be different for slimmer buttocks than for heavier buttocks.
